 Memory foam offers many benefits over conventional mattresses. Clinical tests have proven over and over again that sleeping on a memory foam mattress reduces pressure points caused by conventional mattresses. This pressure on your body night after night often results in lower back pain, and can also be the cause of knots in shoulder and back muscles. Other disadvantages include arms and/or legs falling asleep due to lack of blood flow and aggravation of pre-existing health and posture conditions. A memory foam mattress can actually help your body to restore damaged tissue, reproduce vital antibodies and regulate a variety of hormone and immune system chemicals.

 In addition to the health benefits that memory foam offers, your memory foam mattress will also last twice as long as a conventional mattress and you will pay about half as much.

  We provide our customers with only the best quality memory foam available. Our mattresses, unlike many memory foam mattresses on the market, are made with a high density polyurethane foam base under a 5 pound density Visco-elastic memory foam top layer. The polyurethane foam base in mattresses offered by many other suppliers is a 1.5 pound density foam. Ours is a 2.1 pound density foam. This is important because in order to maximize the many benefits that memory foam was designed to provide, a firm base is required. This is true not only for the foundation that the mattress sits on but also within the construction of the mattress. All of our mattresses come with a 100% cotton, washable zip-off cover and an optional upgrade to a  "Dual Air Flow" mattress (for details see "mattresses"). 

  All Silent Night mattresses are vacuum compressed for shipping, NOT hydraulically compressed. The common hyrdaulic compression method diminishes the integrity of the memory foam and shortens it's lifespan by many years.
